Harvey is a charming town in Western Australia, nestled between the vibrant coastline and the scenic Darling Range. The town is located approximately 140 kilometres south of Perth and is known for its agricultural significance, particularly in dairy farming, orchards, and vineyards. RV travellers wishing to explore the region can base themselves at the Harvey RV Parking Site, located along Sir James Avenue for a maximum of 48 hours. There is no cost to stay; however, bookings are essential. Visitors will have access to bins, potable water and a dump point. Coonamble is located in the central west slopes of New South Wales, 418 kilometres north-west of Sydney. The shire has produced a successful agricultural industry including broadacre farming and cattle grazing. With the Warrumbungle National Park, Macquarie Marshes and Pilliga State Forest nearby, Coonamble is the perfect base to explore the surrounding natural beauty of the region.The town’s main street offers a glimpse into the art deco era, with some of the buildings retaining this style. Coonamble’s history can also be observed at the Museum Under the Bridge, originally built as the police station in 1886. The ‘trooper’ brick horse stables have been preserved in their original form and are one of only two remaining in New South Wales.Coonamble offers a range of places to park for up to 96 hours – the Coonamble Showground and the Back Combara Road campsite.
