Parking is only available for self-contained vehicles at a fantastic rate of just $10 per vehicle per night. A dump point and water are available for those patronising the camping area, while the town’s public dump point and potable water are accessible at the BP Echuca on the Murray Valley Highway.
Step back in time at the Port of Echuca Discovery Centre, then head out onto the water aboard a historic paddle steamer for a leisurely cruise past towering red gums. The Murray is perfect for kayaking, fishing and waterskiing, while nearby Barmah National Park protects the world’s largest river red gum forest, with plenty of walking trails and birdlife to explore. Round out your stay with a visit to local wineries and breweries, or time your trip for one of the town’s popular events, such as the Riverboats Music Festival or the Southern 80 ski race.
